Algol Group expands to Denmark

Björn Fredlund Ab, Algol´s subsidiary in Sweden, has opened a representative
office in Glostrup, Copenhagen. The new office specializes in the sales of
industrial chemicals.

The new representative office is to render Björn Fredlund´s customer service
more efficient in Denmark, which already forms a part of the company´s market
area. Björn Fredlund continues operating its product deliveries to Denmark from
its central warehouse in Helsingborg, Sweden. Local operations in Copenhagen
are run by Jorgen Orntoft, who has been appointed Area Sales Manager.

Algol acquired the entire share capital of Björn Fredlund and its Norwegian
subsidiary Bjorn Fredlund AS in 2001. Both companies form a part of the
Chemical Division´s operations.
