The distribution of Ctrl PLUS line expands into daily consumer goods trade on 1 of July 2010.
In 2008 Algol Pharma introduced a new line of vitamins and minerals under the product brand Ctrl PLUS. On 1 July 2010 the distribution and marketing of the product line will take a new step as the distribution expands into daily consumer goods trade. A selection of the products can soon be purchased not only from the pharmacies but from the majority of the markets and locations of S Group, a Finnish retail trade group.
Following products of the Ctrl PLUS line will be available in daily consumer goods stores:
Ctrl PLUS Energy tablet
Ctrl PLUS Lactate enzyme, 10 capsules
Ctrl PLUS C-vitamin, 100 tablets
Ctrl PLUS D3-FORTE 25 mcg, 100 tablets
Ctrl PLUS Tablets for bones, 100 tablets
The selection will vary regionally.
The contract with S Group is historical because the distributional concept is completely new among the products represented by Algol Pharma. Traditionally only the pharmacies have been selling the products. The partnership with S group will bring the products mentioned above into the shelves of most of the biggest S Group's locations in Finland. The major expansion helps to improve the product awareness and to increase the marketing possibilities of the Ctrl Plus line.
