Algol Pharma expands its warehouse space in Espoo

Algol Pharma is expanding its warehouse space in Espoo, Finland, in response to
the demands of its growing business. The company signed a lease contract today
for an additional 2100 square metres of warehouse space in Vitikka, Kilo, close
to Algol´s central warehouse area. The expansion almost doubles the company´s
warehousing capacity and will lead to new arrangements also at its current
warehouse facilities.

According to Heikki Haapoja, Managing Director of Algol Pharma, the expansion
will enhance the company´s service offerings for the manufacturers who are its
co-operation partners, as well as for end customers. The new facilities will be
equipped as a high-quality pharmaceuticals warehouse that complies with all the
latest norms of the branch. One of the two current halls in the central
warehouse area will specialise in storage for diagnostics products and
equipment. The second hall will be reserved for production use, which in
practice means temporary storage for ready-to-sell pharmaceutical products and
furnishing them with all the appropriate information and instructions for their
intended markets.

The new warehouse complex should be fully operational in its new format this
summer.
