Algol Pharma acquires Trehab rehabilitation equipment business

Algol Pharma has acquired the business operations of Oy Trehab Ab, a Finnish
company specialised in import and marketing of rehabilitation equipment. The
operations of Trehab and Algol Pharma´s rehabilitation equipment unit will be
combined as of 1 June 2006 under a new company that will operate as a
wholly-owned subsidiary of Algol Pharma under the name Algol-Trehab Oy.

According to Heikki Haapoja, Managing Director of Algol Pharma, the acquisition
will significantly strengthen the company´s position and expand its operations
in the growing rehabilitation equipment markets in Finland and neighbouring
countries. The new company will be located at Algol´s facilities in Espoo and
employ approximately 15 persons. Kaarina Lampén, Managing Director of Trehab,
will continue as Managing Director of the new company.
