Deep specialisation on a wide basis of experience

The operations of the Algol Group are based on its three traditional businesses: raw materials and semi-finished goods; machinery, equipment and special products; and healthcare products. These three highly specialised business areas - Algol Chemicals, Algol Technics and Algol Pharma, respectively - and their subsidiaries form the Group and operate under the Parent Company Algol Oy, which owns 100% of the shares in these companies.

The Algol Group operates broadly and specialises deeply within a shared framework and in compliance with shared guidelines. It represents a powerful package that combines traditions and experience with new perspectives and focused development.

The Algol Group has a global network of co-operation partners. It has offices in all of its home markets in Northern and Northeastern Europe, a region that encompasses ten countries: Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. The Algol Group has annual sales of over 200 million euros and approximately 500 employees.

The Algol Group, with roots in Finland, has expanded its home markets also to the other Nordic countries, to the Baltic countries, Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.
